WillowRoots was founded by Tanya Poppleton, an executive leadership coach and consultant with over 30 years of experience spanning military service, post-secondary campus safety leadership, and education.

Tanya holds a Master of Education from Brock University and is an ICF-ACC certified coach, CTDP, and LCP — and brings that depth of real-world, high-stakes experience into every coaching and consulting engagement.

What is executive coaching and how does it work?

Executive coaching is a one-on-one partnership between a certified coach and a leader — typically an executive, director, or manager — focused on improving leadership effectiveness, decision-making, and self-awareness. Sessions are confidential, goal-oriented, and tailored to the individual. At WillowRoots, we typically begin with a complimentary discovery call to assess fit, then design a coaching engagement built around your specific goals and timeline.

How much does executive coaching cost in Canada?

Executive coaching in Canada typically ranges from $200 to $600 per session for individual coaching. At WillowRoots, our 1:1 coaching programs start at $250/month for emerging leaders (The Performance Pulse) and scale up to $4,500 for a 6-month executive transformation package that includes an LCP Assessment. Is Tanya Poppleton ICF certified?

Yes. Tanya Poppleton holds the ICF-ACC designation (International Coaching Federation — Associate Certified Coach), which requires demonstrated coaching competency, client hours, and mentor coaching. She is also a CTDP (Certified Training & Development Professional) and LCP Certified Practitioner, and holds a Master of Education from Brock University.

Do you offer virtual coaching across Canada?

Yes. While WillowRoots is based in Toronto, Ontario, we serve clients virtually across Canada. All coaching, consulting, and training engagements are available online. In-person facilitation may be arranged for organizations in the Toronto/GTA region.

What is the Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) Assessment?

The Leadership Circle Profile (LCP) is a statistically validated 360° leadership assessment that measures a leader’s creative competencies and reactive tendencies. It is widely regarded as the gold standard in leadership assessment and provides a detailed roadmap for growth. At WillowRoots, LCP debriefs are offered as a standalone service ($1,150) and are included in our Tier 3 Individual Coaching and Team High-Performance Track packages.
